Tomb Raider: Legend
With Crystal Dynamics and Eidos
Legend was the first Tomb Raider game to be designed in the United States. My work concentrated on the combat systems. We needed ways for the gunplay to compliment Lara’s agility. In addition to a lock-on system, we added an alt fire button that would shoot at hazards or traps in the environment. That way the player could create cinematic trouble for the enemies.
